AsVIVA, the manufacturer specializing in fitness equipment and e-bikes, is expanding its e-mobility division: Five 45 km/h e-scooters in two classes are currently newly available in AsVIVA's e-mobility segment. The compact EM1 model relies on a sleek, modern design, while the larger AsVIVA EM2 offers a classic retro look in the style of 60s scooters. "We are taking the next step following the success of our e-bike division and venturing into the next larger machines in the field of e-mobility," says As-STORES GmbH Managing Director Thorsten Weyers. "With our new models, we continue to support clean mobility, especially in urban areas." With ranges between 45 – 60 km at a maximum speed of 45 km/h, these nimble scooters can cover a solid distance on a single battery charge. "However, our e-scooters can pack even more power," Weyers confirms. An integrated second battery compartment allows another of the powerful lithium-ion batteries to even double the range of the AsVIVA e-scooters.
While the EM2 operates with a 3000 Watt QS motor, a 1200W Bosch electric motor is already enough for the compact EM1 to get up to speed. Convenient speed regulation takes place in three levels between 25 km/h, 30 km/h, and 45 km/h. Both models can be started modernly keyless. The multi-function display clearly provides the status of all relevant data such as current speed, battery charge level, and remaining range. In addition, the operation of turn signals, headlights, and cruise control is shown on the display. Thus, the electric scooters combine simple bicycle handling with the dynamics of a motorcycle. "We are very pleased about the successful expansion of our e-mobility segment with the electric scooters," says AsVIVA CEO Weyers. "In the future, we will continue to ensure more e-mobility on two wheels on the road."
